
I thought we were pretty healthy eaters, but now, I have more of a desire to make better choices. We don't want these 21 days to be in vain. We also do not want to be like yo-yo dieters and gain our weight back. In fact, I am hoping to continue short term juicing days to continue the weight loss. Bill, of course, doesn't need to lose any! I am getting excited about trying many new recipes! I know having a menu and some definite guidelines will be the key to continuing change. In a few weeks, our Life Group will be eating out. We'll be planning ahead so we do not fall back into old habits. It's a learning process.
The basic "Mean Green" drink from the movie Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead:
6 leaves of Kale (or spinach)
1 cucumber
4 stalks of celery
2 green apples
1/2 lemon
piece of ginger root
(one serving)
Everyone keeps asking, "What's the first thing you're going to eat?" Who knows!
